I am a certified personal trainer who believes in a functional approach to fitness that incorporates multi-faceted programming and assessment. My fitness journey began with collegiate soccer, where I was being trained as an athlete, to a lack of exercise brought on by injury. This is where my appreciation for fitness professionals grew. While I was attending Ohio University to pursue my Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, I was surrounded by a wealth of knowledge. It was then that I began to apply this knowledge to my own fitness goals – and began to understand how personally gratifying it was to get that extra mile, put up a personal best, or drop the last 5lbs that I’d previously been struggling to lose. Fitness is an amazing thing that is not limited to aesthetics. It is the journey and the feeling of overcoming what you once deemed impossible, and I’m ready to join that journey with you!
